The name says it all: simply shake your iPhone for a random filter! To ensure the perfect shot, the filter is applied to the live fullscreen preview. An offscreen menu of all filters is also accessible via the filters button at the bottom right (only supported on iPhone 5 and 5s). To minimize icons obscuring your shot, settings (including flash, grid, front/back camera, and HDR) are provided on the left sidebar, available with the swipe of your thumb or a simple tap of the settings button. Now pick your filter, tap to focus, and snap away!
